GB United Club

We are delighted to announce that GB Soccer School has formed our own club called GB United. We have 5 teams playing at Club Level this year for children born between 2012-2015.

What ages are GB United catering for?
GB United are constantly looking to add teams every season. Next year we plan to add the 2016 age group.

What if my child is older/younger than the ages mentioned?
If your child is a little younger than the ages mentioned then we will consider them for the team if they meet the standards of the older players and think that they will be a good fit. Unfortunately we can’t accept players that are older than the age limit.

What’s the difference between Club & West Valley Soccer?
Club Soccer is a lot more competitive than the West Valley Soccer League and our club teams will practice 2 x per week for an hour and half and play games on weekends which include travel. We will also play a number of tournaments throughout each season. West Valley is a recreational league but you can hire one of our GB coaches to run your practice and show up and coach your game. The games are run on the weekend at the same location (Pierce College) every week. You can choose where you would like to hold your practice.

What League will GB United be playing in?
We will start all of our club teams in the Bronze League of CSL as all of our players will be new to club soccer. Our aim is to build confidence in all of our players and ensure that every child has a positive soccer experience and develop them to the the very best of their abilities.

Why are GB Soccer School adding a Club Program?
Having a club team has always been a goal of ours and really wanted to have an option for our more advanced players and our players who have aged out of the program to still be able to stay with GB on their soccer journey.

Is my child guaranteed a spot in a GB United Club team?
We will be run try outs to determine which of our players are best suited for the club team.

What if my child isn’t ready for club soccer?
Our goal is to help every player develop to their best of their ability and we do occasionally accept training players on the Club teams who practices with the team to improve their skills at but don’t participate in the Club games. If your child is not ready for Club, we also have our Coach and Play League which is our own GB league. This is a league where each team has their own coach for practices on Fridays and games on Saturdays where they play against one of our other GB Teams in the Coach and Play League. We thank you all for your continued support. This a very exciting time for GB Soccer School and GB United.
